Boston, MA: Jim Glaser Law, a local personal injury law firm committed to helping residents of Massachusetts seek compensation for accident-related injuries, has chosen the winners for their 2021 Jimmy Knows™ Scholarship.
About the Jimmy Knows™ Scholarship
As a local law firm established in the Massachusetts community, Jim Glaser Law cares about the people in the area and the future of society. Without young minds paving the way for the future, our society is limited, but higher education is often restricted to those who can afford it. As a result, Jim Glaser Law launched the Jimmy Knows™ Scholarship to make students’ educational goals possible.
The Jimmy Knows™ Scholarship offered three students a $500 scholarship opportunity to apply to tuition or education-related expenses. The scholarship was open to students with a GPA of 3.0 or better and have been accepted or currently attend a 2- to 4-year college in Massachusetts. Participants were asked to write an essay about a time they’ve helped someone in their life overcome a difficult challenge, just like Attorney Jimmy Glaser does for his clients.
The Scholarship Winners
While the Jimmy Knows™ Scholarship received many excellent applications, three students stood out with thoughtful essays about the times they’ve been the support for someone who was going through difficult times. The winners of the Jimmy Knows™ Scholarship include:
- Courtney Higgins
- Ciara Kay
- Kejsi Demaj
Ciara plans to pursue a nursing degree at Holyoke Community College, while Courtney has chosen to go to Fairfield University to earn a degree in communications. Kejsi will be attending Harvard as a government and sociology major.
